Tired of Bad Landlords and Shady Apartments

I just went to another viewing, and the landlord was super sketchy. Red flags? Cracked walls and a weak elevator! Always ask about past maintenance issues, and never trust a fresh coat of paint as a fix! Anyone else dealing with this? Need some support here!
