Need advice on WFH apartment requirements

I'm considering a new apartment in Toronto for remote work and I'm unsure about the ideal space. Would a 500 sqft studio be too small for productive WFH? I’m debating between a dedicated office and a shared living space. Any thoughts on what's necessary for an effective working environment?
