Thinking about renting in the Annex, any tips?

I'm considering renting a condo versus an apartment in the Annex. I've seen some condos around $2500, but I’m not sure if the amenities are worth it compared to a more affordable apartment at around $2100. What do you think? Any feedback on living in that area would be appreciated!
