Sick of This Rental Nightmare - When Will It End?

Another rent increase, seriously? How is anyone supposed to afford this?! My landlord wants $2800 for a bachelor?! And all I get is leaky faucets and thin walls. Just got outbid again after viewing 15 places, all taken within hours. This market is impossible!
