Are these deposit demands even legal? 🤔

Hey everyone, I just graduated and I'm looking for my first apartment in Toronto. Some landlords are asking for multiple deposits like pet fees, key fees, and even damage deposits. Are these charges even legal, or are they just trying to squeeze more money out of tenants? Feeling confused!
