Rent is consuming 40-60% of my income in Toronto, and the 30% rule feels totally impossible. I'm stuck wondering how I can afford $2400 rent on a $60k salary. It just feels like each month I'm drowning in expenses and can't catch a break. Am I the only one feeling this financial strain?
