What's changing in Leslieville lately?

I've noticed Leslieville has been buzzing with new cafes and galleries popping up, but is anyone else feeling the rental prices creeping up too? It's such a cool area, but I worry that the increasing costs are pushing out some of the longtime residents. Thoughts?
