WFH Space Needs: How Much Room Do I Really Need?

I'm new to Toronto and looking for a work from home apartment. How much space do I need to comfortably set up a dedicated office? Is a studio too small for WFH? I'm considering 500 sqft but wondering if it allows for a functional workspace along with living areas. Thoughts?
