Living with Constant Clatter - Just Need Some Peace

I love my apartment but the noise from the neighbors is driving me crazy! The thin walls don't help, and street sounds keep interrupting my study time. Plus, there's ongoing construction nearby that's making it impossible to relax. Anyone have tips on handling this or soundproofing ideas?
