Frustrating landlord experience with unresponsive management

I recently moved to Toronto and thought I found a decent apartment, but my landlord has been totally unresponsive. Promised maintenance on broken appliances never happened, and my security deposit is still in limbo. It's incredibly stressful when you’re new to the city and just want a stable home.
