Is it common for landlords to charge extra for snow removal?

Hey everyone! I'm renting a unit in East York, and my landlord mentioned an additional fee for snow removal this winter. Is this standard practice or does it sound unusual? I've never encountered this before and want to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of. Thanks for any insights!
