Finding the Right Neighborhood for Kids in Toronto

We're looking for a short-term rental in Toronto for 3-6 months. Can anyone recommend neighborhoods that are great for kids? We're hoping to be close to schools, parks, and other spaces where children can play and explore safely. Any tips on where to find suitable rentals would be appreciated!
