Confused about this lease clause - is it normal?

Hey everyone! I just signed my lease and found a clause that says I have to pay for any damages caused by guests. Is that really standard? I mean, what if a friend accidentally spills something? I feel uneasy about this. Any advice or experiences with similar clauses?
