Confused about pet deposits and fees in Ontario

Hey everyone, I'm a bit perplexed about pet deposits in Ontario. Are pet deposits even legal here? My landlord is asking for a pet fee, and I'm not sure what they can actually charge. Is it equal to pet rent or something different? Any insights would be helpful!
