Help with Toronto moving logistics - school and space concerns!

We're gearing up for a move in Toronto and I'd love some insights. How do we find neighborhoods with great schools and safe parks for the kids? Also, any tips on timing the move or finding reliable movers? Space is a must, so any advice on suitable housing would be great!
