Riverside's rental market - any insights?

I’ve been doing some research on Riverside and I’m curious about the rental scene. I’ve heard it’s a bit on the pricier side, but are the amenities really that good? And how’s the vibe overall? Is it quieter than Leslieville, or do both neighborhoods share that lively energy?
