Parking Prices in Toronto: Are You Kidding Me?

I just graduated and starting my job hunt, but the parking costs are insane! How much are people actually paying for a spot? Monthly parking fees average around $200-$300! Is it worth paying for parking, or should I just rely on street parking alternatives? I can’t believe these prices!
