Is $2200 too much for a 1-bedroom in Leslieville?

Hey everyone, I'm looking at a 1-bedroom apartment in Leslieville for $2200 a month. I’ve heard mixed things about this neighborhood, especially with the rise in prices lately. Is this a fair price for the area considering its proximity to downtown and amenities? Any advice is appreciated!
