Need advice on winter rent increases in downtown Toronto

Hi everyone! My landlord just informed me they're raising my rent by $200 starting in January. I’ve heard about the rent increase guidelines, but it's so confusing! Does anyone know if this is within legal limits for downtown units? My rent was already $2100. Thanks!
