Confused About Pet Deposits in Ontario - Can They Charge Me?

Hey everyone, I'm really confused about the pet deposit rules here in Ontario. My landlord wants a pet fee but I'm not sure if that's even legal. Are pet deposits allowed? What can they actually charge for having a pet? Is pet rent a thing? Any insights would be super helpful!
