Another rent increase?! This market is a nightmare!

How is anyone supposed to afford $2800 for a bachelor?! I mean seriously, another $400 increase in my rent?! It's insane! I viewed 15 places this week, and they've all been taken within hours. I'm just so sick of these bidding wars and getting outbid constantly. This market is impossible!
