Parking Prices in Toronto: Are They Outrageous?!

I can't believe how insane Toronto parking costs are! I’m looking at monthly fees that are off the charts—how much for just one spot?! Street parking might be an alternative, but is it really worth paying for a dedicated parking space? Anyone else confused about this?
