Struggling to find a decent one-bedroom in Leslieville

I've been searching for a one-bedroom in Leslieville for over a month, and I'm feeling frustrated. The prices seem to be around $2500, but a lot of the places aren't that great. Is this the new normal, or am I missing out on better options? Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!
