Need help finding a cozy condo in downtown Toronto

I’m recently an empty nester and looking to downsize from my house. I'm considering a one-bedroom condo in the Queen West area but concerned about rent prices. Is $2500 reasonable for a good spot there? Also, any tips on what to watch out for in leases would be appreciated!
