Average 1BR in Toronto hits $2400 – how is anyone affording this?

The average rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in Toronto has reached $2400, and it feels unsustainable. I make $60k a year, but spending 60% of my income on rent is taking a toll on my finances. How is anyone affording rent in Toronto anymore? It’s becoming impossible to find anything under $2000!
