Has anyone checked out the rental scene in Parkdale lately?

I’ve been exploring Parkdale and it feels like there’s a lot happening. The rental prices seem more reasonable compared to the Junction, but I’m curious about safety. Also, are the local eateries still as vibrant? Would love to hear any recent experiences!
