Endless Delays and Unreasonable Demands from My Landlord

I'm beyond frustrated with my landlord. They keep harassing me for a huge upfront deposit—way more than the legal limit! Promises of maintenance fixes are just empty words; it’s been weeks, and the leaky faucet is still dripping. Why do landlords think they can get away with this? I need help!
