Concern about special assessment and rising costs for renters

I'm really worried about the special assessment affecting our condo. Are we as renters responsible for these additional condo fees if they go up? I’m concerned about potential rent increases because of the assessment, and some of us might even consider leaving if this goes on. What can we expect?
