Upstairs neighbor stomps around all night - what can I do?

I'm at my wit's end with my upstairs neighbor who sounds like they're running a marathon at all hours. It’s especially bad after midnight and it’s affecting my sleep. Am I being unreasonable for wanting to address this? What's the best way to approach them or my landlord about it?
