Are pet deposits legal in Ontario? 🤔

Hey everyone! I'm a bit confused about the rules around pet deposits. My landlord is asking for a pet fee, but I've heard that pet deposits might be illegal in Ontario? Can they really charge me for having a pet? What’s the difference between pet rent and a deposit? Any insights are welcome!
