Curious about rentals in Leslieville!

I've been eyeing Leslieville for a while now. I've heard the rental prices are still reasonable compared to other neighborhoods like Riverside, but how do the amenities stack up? Are there good grocery stores and coffee shops around? Anyone living there can share their experience?
