Why Isn't Toronto Building More Housing?

I'm beyond frustrated with Toronto's housing shortage! With so many people relying on the TTC, the lack of affordable units near subway lines is shocking. We hear about supply and demand, yet construction is painfully slow. Where are the action plans for new developments? We need more housing now!
