Has Liberty Village finally peaked?

I'm seeing more and more high-rises popping up in Liberty Village. Has anyone else noticed the changing vibe? It feels like the charm of the old warehouses is fading a bit. Also, is it just me or has rent skyrocketed here? Wondering if anyone's had to deal with a rent increase lately.
