PSA: I learned the hard way about winter moving!

Moved into my first apartment in January and it was a snow nightmare! The moving truck got stuck halfway up a hill, so we had to shovel a path. If you're moving in winter, don’t forget ice melt and a backup plan for getting your stuff up those icy stairs! Any tips for making winter moves smoother?
