Living downtown is a curse with the subway chaos

I live in a spot that’s supposedly convenient, but the subway is always delayed. My 90-minute commute feels endless! I can’t even count the amount of times I've been late to work because of transit issues. Is this just a Toronto thing or are other cities better?
