Help me decide on a $2100 one-bedroom in the suburbs vs. $2500 downtown

I'm torn between a $2100 one-bedroom in the suburbs with a longer commute and a $2500 downtown studio that cuts 20 minutes off my travel. The suburban place has more space but is farther from work. My budget is tight, but I value convenience. Should I go for comfort or location?
