Moved in a snowstorm: Survived the chaos but learned a lot!

Worst moving day ever! It started snowing heavily the day before, and on the morning of the move, we faced -20 temps with blizzards. The moving truck got stuck halfway there. Any advice on how to deal with weather disasters on moving day? I learned that planning for a backup route is key!
