Help me decide: 2BR in a quiet suburb vs 1BR downtown

I'm torn between a spacious 2BR in a quiet suburb for $2000 and a stylish 1BR downtown for $2500. The suburb is appealing for peace and lower rent, but the downtown vibe and short commute are huge draws. I’m not sure if the extra cost is justified. I need some advice!
