Will Toronto rents ever come down for pet-friendly housing?

With the current market trends, it feels like rents in Toronto will just keep climbing. Is there any chance they might ever get cheaper? As a pet owner, I’m especially struggling to find rentals that accept pets. Are there specific areas more welcoming? Any hope on the horizon for rent reductions?
