Considering a move to Leslieville - any thoughts?

I’m looking to make a career change and possibly relocate within Toronto this spring. I’ve heard good things about Leslieville, but I'm unsure if it’s a good fit for me. What’s the vibe like, and are the rents around $2,500 reasonable for a one-bedroom? Any tips would be appreciated!
