Is $2000 for a 2BR in Scarborough a fair deal right now?

Found a 2BR for $2000 in Scarborough and I'm really torn. It seems decent, but I've heard mixed reviews about the area and the building has had some maintenance issues. I'm just wondering if this price is too high given the concerns or if I'm overthinking it.
