Exhausted from the relentless search for a new apartment

Just need to vent real quick. I've applied to countless listings, and it's like playing a game I can't win. The competition is insane, and the ghosting is just the cherry on top. I'm so burnt out from this process and I'm starting to lose hope. Anyone else feel this way?
