Subletting Confusion - What are My Rights?

I'm thinking about subletting my apartment in Toronto but not sure where to start. Can my landlord refuse my sublet request? What are my rights as a tenant when it comes to subleasing? Any guidance on lease agreements and the LTB process would be great!
