What’s the deal with these weird lease clauses?

Has anyone else encountered super odd clauses in their lease agreements? I’ve got one that says I can't hang pictures on the walls without approval. Is that normal? Also, any tips on when the best time is to book a moving truck? I hear weekends are chaotic.
