Weather chaos: Moved in a snowstorm, truck got stuck!

Worst moving day ever! We had a huge snowstorm the day we were scheduled to move. The truck got stuck in a snowdrift, and we ended up carrying boxes through knee-deep snow. Anyone have tips for moving in bad weather next time? Also, is there a way to negotiate move-in incentives with landlords?
