Should I take the 2BR in North York or the 1BR downtown?

I'm stuck between a 2-bedroom apartment in North York for $2,300 and a 1-bedroom downtown for $2,500. The downtown spot is more convenient for work and social life, but the extra space in North York is tempting. I need someone to help me weigh my options!
