Exploring Rentals in Parkdale – Thoughts?

I've been checking out Parkdale lately and it's a mixed bag. Rent prices seem reasonable, but the vibe is definitely changing with a lot of new cafes popping up. Anyone else feel like the gentrification is pushing long-time residents out? Curious about the safety there lately too.
