Moving day chaos: New home, old problems

Worst moving day ever - we arrived at our new place, only to find the previous tenants had left behind a mountain of junk! We had to sort through it all while the movers waited. Lesson learned: always do a final walk-through before the move! Anyone else have last-minute surprises on moving day?
