Can't Escape the Noise: Living in a Sound Cage

Lately, it feels like I’m living in a concert hall with all the racket from my neighbors. Thin walls amplify their every move, and street noise doesn’t help either. With construction projects nearby, it’s impossible to find a moment of peace. Anyone have tips for coping or soundproofing on a budget?
