Parking in Toronto: How much to budget for monthly rent?

Hey everyone, I'm moving to Toronto and looking at places in the Leslieville and Beaches areas. I found a two-bedroom for $2,800, but they want an extra $200 a month for parking. Is this typical? What should I expect in terms of parking costs around here? Any advice would be appreciated!
